Text navigation

Each of the aip.gov.mt pages has a text navigation section down the left hand side of the screen. There are no graphical navigation buttons within the no frames environment as they are unnecessary devices which can in many cases be more of a hindrance than a help. The text links include a description box informing the user where the link will go. This can be viewed by placing the pointer over the line of text.

Keyboard access

Keyboard access is important for users who do not have ability to use a pointing device. Each of the areas of aip.gov.mt has been constructed to allow users to bind keyboard strokes to actions. Not only is this an essential tool for sections of the community it is a quick and easy way for everyone to navigate the site. Just press the 'alt' key and the required letter at the same time and let the browser do the rest.
